Sitting at a meeting during work, my doodle turned into a little drawing. Decided to scan around and start noodling on it. Not sure what I’m going to do with it just yet. I’ll continue to play with the gray-scale study for a little. Then maybe do a color.

I’ve also joined http://www.altpick.com in hopes of scaring up some potential jobs or art agents.

I have looked into http://www.theispot.com but, its a bit more pricey. Still trying to find out if its wroth joining or not.

Went to http://www.futurepoly.com/ workshop in Bellevue today.  Not a bad workshop.  Oddly the best thing I think I got out of it was something Daniel Dociu said. He said that he encouraged people to revisit past works and update them. This, for whatever reason, was a revelation. I really like some of my older ideas, but hated how I executed them or abandoned them in the past. Having this permission to go back and revisit old works is exciting to me. So, here is the first one. I found an old water color I did a few years back. I always like where it was in my head, but never liked how it had actually turned out. So, I used it as a base and then finished it using techniques and concepts that I have learned over the past couple years. I’ll probably continue to work on it, maybe try to take some of the muddy blacks out of the fish on the right.

Well, not really new.  Several months old, but I couldn’t post them untill the game was released.   They are in the gallery now, I’ll throw a few up front though.
